Το «Εvil Eye Pendant» ή στα ελληνικά «Το μενταγιόν ‘το Μάτι του Διαβόλου’», δεν είναι κάποιο παγανιστικό σύμβολο ή ένα ειδωλολατρικό αξεσουάρ, αλλά ένα από τα πιο διαδεδομένα στυλ κρεμαστών, αυτό που έχει το πολύ γνώριμο «ματάκι» στο εσωτερικό του και σύμφωνα με την ιστορία της δημιουργίας του προστατεύει όποια το φοράει από την κακή ενέργεια και τα αρνητικά σχόλια. Και από ότι φαίνεται στο παρακάτω Instagram post αυτήν την «προστασία» έψαχνε και η Meghan Markle όταν εμφανίστηκε χθες σε video call με τον φιλανθρωπικό οργανισμό «Smart Works», στο οποίο είναι πρόεδρος, φορώντας ένα αντίστοιχο μενταγιόν.
Με ένα παρόμοιο «ματάκι« είχε εμφανιστεί και στην περιοδεία της με τον Πρίγκιπα Harry στη Νότια Αφρική πριν από έξι μήνες. Το χθεσινό κόσμημά της ανήκει στο brand κοσμημάτων «Εdge of Embers», κοστίζει 175 Ευρώ, ονομάζεται «Visionary» και έχει μπλε τοπάζι στο εσωτερικό του.
H Meghan φόρεσε το δικό της μενταγιόν με ένα απλό, μπορντό πουλόβερ, αλλά ένα παρόμοιο κομμάτι αν θες και εσύ να αποφύγεις με στυλιστικό τρόπο το «κακό -διαβολικό θα λέγαμε- μάτι», μπορεί να φορεθεί και ως μέρος ενός layering look. Mε πιο μακριά μενταγιόν, με λεπτές αλυσίδες αλλά και με chain necklaces. Μία επιλογή που εκτός από τύχη φέρνει σίγουρα και στυλ!

During the session the Duchess praised her for being “such a beacon of hope” and “focusing on getting through this”. ⠀ en asked about her patronage she said, “it’s a pleasure to support them, you see how great they do and how many people they help and that’s what it’s all about. I’ve been really proud to be able to be their patron, but it’s an easy yes when you have such incredible women helping you.” ⠀ After her session with the Duchess our client had this to say: ⠀ “I just wanted to say a big “thank you” to you, the Duchess and the whole team at Smart Works for making this possible for women all around the UK, because to see such work is truly inspiring and uplifting. And thank you for the super useful interview tips – I will be using them for years to come!.” ⠀ The Smart Works service is available for any woman who is unemployed and has a confirmed job interview, referrals are made by our employment support partners including women’s charities and Job Centre Plus.
